I like this picture of Basilica di Santa Croce in Florence.  Lee and I had been waiting for a storm to pass in a coffee shop at the end of Terrazza Santa Croce.   When it did, I stepped out onto the terrace to capture this picture with the storm clouds in the background and sun lighting up the face of the Basilica.  I thought it might be dramatic in black and white. Besides being a beautiful, imposing structure, the Basilica de Santa Croce is the final resting place of some very notable Italians: Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli, Foscolo, Gentile and Rossini.  You can click on the image to see a larger version.
